i've followed her for a while now and always been a big fan. but seriously, the vnzmas'? she fkn owned, lately the nz music scene has really started to pick up with the likes of coco solid, cut off your hands, fat freddys drop etc etc but ladyhawke takes the cake for me! fuck it she takes the whole buffet!
from her genius lyrics, raging skills on the bass and synth, to her "i dont give a fuck" attitude. i really think i am in love. and for the record completley jealous of anika moa right now. pip brown makes me want to learn some form of instrument and take on a whole new personna, with an attitude that would make my mum wonder what she did wrong with me when i was young.
i really think pip brown should marry me, i mean come on, she lives for video games, gets plastered at awards shows and thanks her lighting crew when accepting awards because all she wants to do is het off stage and have another vodka.
