after filling out my details i recieved a confirmation email stating that i have taken a good step towards a better future and that my quit pack would arrive in roughly 7 working days.

week 2 in the windy town.

well well, so far ive lasted 2 weeks and still going good. had my first day at course today and made new friends. yay. but miss my friend sheaps in akl :[

got an apartment which is friggen sweet and 10 min walk to course as well!its on hanson street which is just on the border of mount cook, i think haha im getting to know my way around but its still a bit difficult.

went to the beach on saturday and i now have beetroot ankles lol got to watch where i stick the sunblock. also joined a weekly indoor football group so bring on my new years resolution of getting a bit more active!

today was the 67th annual golden globe awards. i enjoy watching these shows not only to find out the best actors/actresses/screenplays/tv shows etc of the year, but they also always seem to be a good laugh. however this year... NO. ricky gervais (the office) was asked to host this years awards and at first i was like, "shit yeah, he's funny and he's in one of the funniest british comedies of this generation, should be a good show".. however two minutes in i already wanted to slap him. yeah so we know your in "the original" office, and we know your funny as hell but bagging on steve carell is a big no no in my books. not only does he bring his own edge to the office, he has starred in like a a billion more films and tv shows (18 films, 5 television shows) than you! so no ricky gervais, it wasn't funny.

ohmy its finally all happening im going in just under 6 days now! like shit shit shit. shit shit. but im so excited its going to be awesomeness dipped in happiness. and im going to meet people and discover new bars and clubs. yuussss. but but but im also shitting myself, ive never lived out of auckland in my entire life, unless you count one month in england which doesnt really count at all. but itll be fun anyways and ill be back, so dont start celebrating just yet lol just jokes.
